Car Rider Sign - If your child will be a car rider please display school issued sign in your vehicle
Please print the first and last name of every child you are picking up in large letters with a black marker. Place this sign in the right-hand side of your dash so that it is visible.

One of the keys to student success is being in the classroom each and every day. As such, the State of Texas has in place laws (Texas Education Code and Texas Family Code) that require a student to be in attendance each school day for the entire time instruction is provided. Two state laws, one dealing with compulsory attendance, the other with attendance for course credit, are of special interest to students and parents.

Per district policy a note must be received within three days of a student’s return to campus for the absence to be excused. If your student was at an appointment with a health care professional please bring a note from their office stating the date and time of the appointment.
